Benji Raziel was born at the crack of Midnight in the gray-cold city of northeast United States holding a guitar; meaning he was born to be the master of lo-fi Americana. Crushed by the jack frost, he set his eyes eastward, and rode the rails to Tel Aviv, where the sky is always blue and the sea always wine-dark with the blues. So it was that there’s a touch of Israel in the American, and a touch of America in the Israeli. Much love given, much love taken in his new album Jack Frost, named for the jack frost of ancient times. Watch here for what follows.
